So, I mentioned it before...i think, but I did one other gig with White-Wolf last year that hit book stores. (Although I haven't found a copy yet, so I have no idea how the work looks printed) But here's my favorite pic of the ten illustrations I did. Tariq Hassan gave me some great advice doing the greyscale work, I hope it prints out well. I also hope the smugded look of the pencils help my "cartoonier" look fit in the book's style. I want my work to be well recieved despite that it's a little different. I always loved Mitch Byrd's stuff in White-Wolf books and I'd love if some of the editors there feel I give that spice to the books. Anyways, pick it up and take a look!

So this is a big announcement (for me) that I've been itching to talk about (since August) and since White-Wolf put it in their quarterly newsletter, I feel I'm free to post about it. I recently did two projects for White-Wolf, which has been my first hook up for my artwork, so that's awesome. A lot of thanks goes to John Christopher for putting in the good word with Matt Millberger, who in turn dropped my name to the madman Mike Chaney. Who got me this gig, which was of EPIC MAGNITUDE! The game in total has 10 scientist illustrations, 40 cards, and the cover done by yours truly. It was a terrifyingly huge project that I couldn't turn down and although doing that much work and keeping my dayjob straight was very daunting. It was so worth it. And although I did a fair amount myself I had to outsource some of the work to both friends and pros alike. So I want to thank and commend the helpful inks of Erica Jacobs, the color assists of Rebbeca Buchman, John Christopher, James Mason, & Tariq Hassan. An amazing nod to Dexter Vines for giving me the hookup to get in contact with Kelsey Shannon to color the cover, it was too cool.

I want to end on the big note of Big Bad John Floyd. John has my back, always, and this was no exception, it was awesome to get him on the work, and he did a great job from flatting to inking to coloring, and I can't thank him enough. I can't wait to cut his check.

I have no idea when the game is coming out but the premise is too fun, I hope it does well so we can do an expansion/follow-up.

I saw the flick the other day...eh...it's phenomenal and than..the ending..well it's...cheesy. Out of nowhere, this solid, down to earth, brutal flick, falls down a little. But still, loved everything else, I got bored while waiting on multiple AfterEffects renders so I sketched this. Enjoy, Vampires need candy, learn it, live it, love it.

Hey, I finished my new sketchbook to put on sale for DragonCon. I also reformatted my 2005 sketchbook to match the format of the 2007 sketchbook. (It says 2006 sketchbook, but it's just reformatted so if you bought the 2005 don't fall for my tom foolery) Anyways buy shit loads, kill your friends with them.

One of the reasons I LOVE doing graphics more than drawing is it kind of keeps my drawings as my thing. I can do it for fun, this is a little gag based on the legendary Rob Baker line "...grew a bitchin' set of tits before he died of a heart attack!" except I added ninjas. I think the more I explain it, the less fun it gets! So, my friends I'm weird, and if you laughed at the drawing. So...are...you. :P

Been drawing with these red and blue pencils, like da animators use. I got say, i like it. I'd post the sketch but I drew over it so much it hurts to look at. This is just another in a series of doing a self portrait out of aggrevation. I got pissed recently and decided not to take it. Needless to say, you want your feelings hurt I'm all to willing lately. So FYI, you get your head torn off, well, you were warned.

Meanwhile, I owe a lot of folks some work, and I've been playing emo, so it's time to get back to it.

*********************************************
Just having some fun with the Puddin' Wrestler characters. I'm trying to draw more for a variety of reasons and one is a character design job with the one, the only M. Glenn Gore. Awwwwwe yeah the dream team is back! So look out for that.

Lately I'm just all over the place. I drew this as minor therapy. My butt knows no greater glory than this.

More Wrestling Strip action. I enjoyed this one ONLY because I'm at a fuckin' loss on where this is going. I fear escalating the strip in a way that isn't initiating fight because I really don't want to see us forced to create a dimensional collapse to end a given story arc.

Anyways whatever, I'll be doing more but mine have been consecutively late and I'm holding off for a minute. Jason Rainey's one is up right now, and it's awesome. Love it with money, or I'll hate you with hammers. (after Dorkin.)

I was thinking need to draw more, need to draw more. Than I just did, the latest issue of NewAvengers had an undead Cap tormenting IronMan in a delusional fit. It was pretty sweet. So I drew it. Dealing with a lot of family stuff right now, but stay tuned, i'm makin' a comeback! LIKE PARACHUTE PANTS!

Well, it's that time again...yeah...not a fan of my entry this round. I just tried to do too much. It's been good to learn with this but.... my greyscale is scattered and hurts my head to look at, and sometimes I wish I had more space for dialogue. Anyways, above is the link to the black and white strip with no dialogue. And with this link right here you can see the new strip. (it should be up shortly) I think if I limit myself to 3 or 4 panels will help, and 4 panels is even a stretch...oh well.

So theres a lot of Drink N' Draws running around but the ATL chapter is celebrity endorsed by 100 Bullets artist Dave Johnson. Anyways, it's had two meet ups, it was a GREAT time, ragin' John Floyd and I have enjoyed it. Here's some pics I did at the first meeting (The devil pig is just an interpertation of the Dave Johnson one, for giggles) Anyways, it's silliness, enjoy. It will also buy me time to think of how to follow up Jon Siruno's Wrestling Theatre strip (Or as I call it, Jon took an excuse to blow up a hummer and I'm trying to make it make sense)

In other news everyone say hi to Simon, he's been trying to post comments, so he'll be here soon to give me crap and praise! He's my biggest fan that has kicked my ass. HaZAH!

God only knows what google ads will come from this heading. Anyways, I've been listening to the BigFanboy and PVP livecast, cause I spend way too much time in my studio. Anyways, these PVP livecasts are everything good and bad I remember about the conversations at Comically Speaking back in the day. Well, someone made a reference to Scott Kurtz eating babies and it floored me, I was laughing forever. So I drew this as the podcast is going right now, let's see if i can get them to look at it. I swear it's not shameless, I thought it was funny.

--> BTW these cheesy speedlines I've been using are totally store bought. Didn't earn them at all. Just being honest.

WELL! IT's that time again... I don't think any of us, myself included, have topped Jason Rainey's glorious trump card. but anyways, my new entry should be up sometime today. Honestly it isn't exactly freaking me out, but I was at a bit of a loss. I had an original plan to have ArachnoLad show up as a science zombie. (design above) But, I hadn't read Chuck's entry close enough, I didn't realize the burned guy was ArachnoLad. Oh well.... At least Hunter can know I had plans to do something with ArachnoLad other than slap him around. I don't know if this makes much sense...anyways...click an ad, go read granma evelyn's.

I love Gears of War for XBOX 360, in fact I don't own any other game. My 360 is basically a Gears of War machine, I don't think the game is for everyone, but it's for me and I love it. I yell a lot when I play it so I made this silly gif (click to see it awkwardly animate!) Enjoy! Oh and for anyone who thinks I should post a Valentine picture.....consider this it! TAKE MY GIFT OF LOVE!

So I've been freelancing and I'm juggling a few things right now and one of them has been participating in the Wrestling Jam. It's been a good experience for me...I'm not excessively proud of the work I'd done for it. But, comics in any form I think test the mettle of any artist, when you have a particular goal or story in mind, it forces you to advance your skills. I felt it would help me, and it has. I've enjoyed many of the challanges and I need more work but it's been fun. My recent outing is above with out the word baloons. The final should be posted shortly at the site: here.
