Karen Hunter Publishing

This site is like birthing a fat ass baby that's been around forever. We've done a lot of knick knacks for Karen, ecards, logo, stationary, etc. But this site, has been in talks for awhile and so it seems like it's been around longer than it actually took to put it together. Our resident canuck programmer Shaun Persaud programmed the whole site, I only did the initial design and the flash header with a little help from my peeps. Karen wanted to have a fun site that wasn't stale like rival publishers, but still a lil' corporate. I think we done good, it's colorful and fun and this was the start of taking some of Dennis' advice and making good use of callouts. Pretty spiffy, I can't wait to learn CSS so I can do some of my own HTML programming. :)

OnTvProductions.com

We kept using the analogy on this site that it was the simple black dress. Sexy, sleek, classy, always appropiate and I'm pretty damn happy with it. I learned SO MUCH on this site, all of the AS2 in this site is hardcoded and I did a lot more of it than I've ever done before. I can't wait until I'm making external AS functions and kicking ass and sites like these are amazing learning oppurtunities to challange myself and still end up with a sweet product.

PattiLaBellefoods.com

I'm waaaay behind on some cool stuff to post. From some doodles I did for myself to cleared logo work, CD design packaging work (it's in best buy, baby!) Anyways but we'll catch up on that later. Let's talk web baby! I'm so proud of this site, it reaks of everything I want to be as a web designer. Fun, playful, cute, classy, but clean. I love it. This site shows me what I can do with my tastes and Mowie at my back. It's AMAZING to feel like someone has your back 100% and yet is still honest. We are so proud of this site and it's jumping up and down time just to see it launched! Huge props go to Dennis Estanislao who put his arm around me and made me bow at the land of external CSS and programming mastermind Shaun Persaud. He's Canadian, he knows the love of an Aliens VS Predator movie at christmas, HE KNOWS NO FEAR FOR FEAR IS THE MIND KILLER! Oh and he programmed the email submittal form, isn't it pwecious. Enjoy. (More to Come)

RSS feed

EVERYBODY WAS DOING IT! So I upgraded to Leopard. (Cool, spaces is awesome BTW) and it has an RSS option on the mail program which I dig and I added Les' site and thought it was cool, so I added one of my own. Click image above or the permenant link in the main menu! Everyone should add a link to their blog or livejournal.

(John/Nikki I'm looking your way!....who am i kidding Nikki doesn't read this blog, but you'll snitch on me Loc, won't you) Enough big brother talk.

MowieInc.com *soft launch*

So we're doing a soft launch of Mowie Inc., I don't even want to write about how proud I am of this site. Anyone who is in the know, knows that FLASH is a multi faceted, complicated, and sometimes very user unfriendly program. It's also hands down the most amazing, powerful, and versatile web program, period. I was proud to learn enough to finally accomplish a full flash site and even though it's been on the burner since January, I still love the style. Personality wise this is Mowie Inc. I feel more than anything else this...it just is. So with less explanation from me, enjoy it.

P.S.
Enormous thanks to Lorin Ponder for two amazing programming assists on the site. Dennis and Lorin are still amazing fountains of support and knowledge, I can't praise or thank them enough. :)

RayLavender ecard

I love this project, and even the song warmed up to me. The Common ecard and this are fighting for my favorite, I know both of them are more video editing than anything else, but I'm starting to dig just cutting the video and setting up my own audio bed, it's fun.

Counting Crows eCard

Just another eCard, this was weird for me because during the whole process I didn't have one creative spark. Nothing. I just plowed on, normally something hits me, light bulb is on and it's go time. But not this time, just pressed on and uninspired or not, it's still fun, but I still like Ray Valentine better, oh well.

StudioRevolver.net

Well, In celebration of DragonCon, I made a push to get the website up for the studio. Real quick, but I think solid fun design. So enjoy it, soak in all the talent that I work next to.

Yeah, so this is A SUPER FUN birthday ecard (bit off some JibJab style) I made for a client. ((requires FlashPlayer9)) We're getting tons of great feedback for it and it was great fun stress relief in light of some current troubles. Meanwhile, keeping busy but stay tuned, this blog is HOPIN'!

Common ecard

I did this video ecard for Common. Let it be known, video = easy, cutting audio = super retard monkey easy. Count it. Anyways I like it, and the company loved it which was such a good feeling. I love the work I'm doing now, I know it's not casey art, but I hope you like it too.

I got a Puddin' Wrestlin' Round in the wind, and next week I start a new Mel/Casey Horsemen Studio thing. Speaking of which, I wanted to pimp Big John Floyd's blog it's magically delicious. http://www.johnrokk.blogspot.com/

MegaMediaGroup

Speaking of other work I do! This is a real straight forward HTML site. I'm pleased with it, it was a full graphic overhaul conceived and programmed in just about 4 days. I'm real happy with the design and in upcoming awesome news, we've got a programmer sexy man working with my web ambitions these days. He's a great guy and he's going to overhaul this site to include a quality CMS system. I'm so looking forward to working with him in many of my upcoming projects and I'll keep you in the know about this coolness.
